An entrepreneur and a practicing attorney, Richard G. Johnson has been involved in radio communications for over 38 years, and currently serves as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for RemComm, Inc. As a Certified Instructor, he has taught emergency radio communications techniques to radio operators from all walks of life. As a Certified Examiner, Mr. Johnson has tested and qualified radio operators for emergency service.

He has been involved in providing emergency radio communications during many emergencies, and served for two years assisting the American Radio Relay League in coordinating its system of Official Emergency Stations as a District Emergency Coordinator (DEC).
